Cree Text Y-Dot Plains

This is a text spoken by William Badger from the Thunderchild community of Saskatchewan, taken from the book ᑫᑌᐊᔭᐠ. It was written in the semi-pointed syllabics (a few long vowels marked, h-finals sometimes included), and with the raised dot ‹ ˙ › for the y-final, instead of the raised plus-sign ‹ ᐩ ›. Note also that when the y-final comes directly after the w-dot, they merge together to form a colon-like character ‹ : ›. This text is a narrative discussing William Badger's vision of an optimistic future. The punctuation in the original is not consistent
