On macs, use the OPTION key instead of RIGHT-ALT

  • The SEMICOLON key is the ring accent ˚, as in å e̊ o̊.
  • The EQUALS key is the macron accent ¯, as in ā ē ō.
  • The GRAVE key is the grave accent `, as in à è ò.
  • The SLASH key is the acute accent ´, as in á é ó.
  • Opening and closing quotes:
    • single: ‘ SHIFT+GRAVE — ’ APOSTROPHE
    • double: “ SHIFT+] — ” SHIFT+\
