Notes:

  • There are two versions of /l/ and /r/ in Oji-Cree. The first is identical to Western Cree, where the non-syllabic characters ᓬ and ᕒ are used. The second places a superscripted symbol above an n-series syllabic, such as ᓇ /la/, and ᓇ /ra/. To get the superscripts, use the Shift key with <l> or <r>, so that SHIFT+l-i produces ᓂ.
  • To be more compatible with the standard double-vowel roman orthography, this keyboard allows for both the voiced (b d g j z zh) and voiceless (p t k ch s sh) key strokes. However, syllabics typically makes no distinction between the two sound groups.
