- Worked together with Michael Everson on a Unicode proposal (N2962) to dis-unify the lowercase glottal stop into two separate characters: one for use for Northwest Territories’ Dene languages, the other character for other Native langauges. The Script Subcommittee accepted this proposal

- Taught at two Indigenous Language Institute Ancient Voices – Modern Tools: Language and Tech-Knowledge three-day workshops at
Pojoaque Pueblo, New Mexico. Gave instruction on: creating Native Language publications, fonts, keyboarding, webpages, e-mail and web-browsing. Provided custom keyboards for each of the participating languages. Compiled, designed, and edited the course-materials for the workshop.
