On macs, use the OPTION key instead of RIGHT-ALT. Accents are typed after the base letter.
- Type the SLASH key / for the dot accent, as in ġ, ḣ...
- Type the GRAVE key ` for the grave accent, as in the Saskatchewan orthography’s c̀ and s̀
- Type the LEFT BRACKET key [ for the macron accent, as in t̄, k̄...
- Type the RIGHT BRACKET key ] for the acute accent, as in á, é... This accent is not generally used in the White Hat orthography.
- Opening and closing quotes:
- single: ‘ SHIFT+GRAVE — ’ APOSTROPHE
- double: “ SHIFT+LEFT BRACKET — ” SHIFT+RIGHT BRACKET
- single ‹ RIGHT-ALT+SHIFT+9 — › RIGHT-ALT+SHIFT+0
- double « RIGHT-ALT+9 — » RIGHT-ALT+0
