Notes:

Because of the large number of Lakota orthographies, quite a large number of accents have been placed on this keyboard. No single orthography uses all of them.

• The acute accent is the grave key `, as in á é í ó ú ś ć
• The grave accent is the shift-grave key ~, as in c̀ s̀
• The macron accent is the equals key =, as in p̄ t̄ c̄ k̄
• The háček accent is the left-bracket key [, as in č š ȟ ǧ
• The ogonek accent is the right-bracket key ], as in ą į ų
• The cedilla accent is the shift-right-bracket key }, as in ç p̧ ţ ķ
• The dot accent is the slash key /, as in ġ ḣ ċ ṗ k̇ ṫ ṡ ż

• The reverse apostrophe ‘ is on the shift-left-bracket key {
• The glottal stop ʔ is on the shift slash key ?
• The superscript glottal stop ˀ is on the right-alt-slash key.
